How has being involved in campus life at Walsh University enhanced your student experience and better prepared you for your future?
Being involved in campus life at Walsh University has brought me some of the greatest joys of college. Not only do you get to make friendships that last a lifetime, but you also have the ability to truly make a difference in the lives of others, both on campus and the surrounding area. I have grown so much as a person from being involved and have found my true passions from the experiences I have had. Being involved on campus has better prepared me from my future because it has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and take on new experiences that I never would have dreamed of doing. It has allowed me to truly realize the amount of change I can make in this world.

What is the best part of being a student leader on campus?
The best part of being a student leader on campus is the people that you meet and the relationships that you build. Campus life has allowed me to connect with people all over the world and build authentic friendships that will carry beyond graduation. I also love being able to show others their worth and help them realize that they can make a difference.

What advice would you give to new students coming to Walsh (as it relates to becoming involved in campus life)?
Some advice that I would give is to not be afraid to jump right in and get involved on campus. My parents encouraged me to join clubs during my first semester at college and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was during that first semester that I became more independent and started figuring out where my true passions were at. I made friendships from the start that I still have to this day. I'll admit, I had to take a leap of faith and step out of my comfort zone during that first semester while becoming involved, but it allowed me to grow so much as a person. I would not be the person I am today if I did not end up taking that giant leap of faith.

How has being involved in campus life at Walsh University enhanced your student experience and better prepared you for your future?
Being involved in campus life at Walsh has been instrumental in my success at Walsh. I have met so many amazing people, found passions I never thought I could be good at, and grown so much as a leader, student, and person. By being involved in campus life at Walsh University, I have set myself up for success in my future because of the skills I have learned and connections I have made.

What is the best part of being a student leader on campus?
The best part of being a student leader on campus is the people I have met. By being so involved on campus, I have had the opportunity to meet a variety of people who come from diverse background and hear their stories. These connections with students, faculty, and staff are lifelong, and I am so grateful for Walsh bringing these people into my life.

What advice would you give to new students coming to Walsh (as it relates to becoming involved in campus life)?
My advice to new students coming to Walsh is to be courageous. Go out courageously and explore everything Walsh has to offer. By courageously attending one event you might not normally go to or attending something alone, you might stumble upon a new passion, potential career path, or a mentor who can help you when you need it the most.

How has being involved in campus life at Walsh University enhanced your student experience and better prepared you for your future?
Being involved on campus has allowed me to familiarize myself with various positions and opportunities available throughout campus! Additionally, it has given me insight on how different departments run and has shown me how these departments work together in order to better help us as students!

What is the best part of being a student leader on campus?
The best part about being a student leader on campus has been the connections I've been able to make! Getting involved has allowed me to meet new people and form strong connections with them! The constant involvement has provided great visibility on campus which has helped to reinforce and better build these connections!

What advice would you give to new students coming to Walsh (as it relates to becoming involved in campus life)?
DON'T BE AFRAID TO STEP OUTSIDE OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE! Become comfortable with being uncomfortable; there are a lot of experiences I could have missed out on throughout my time here at Walsh if I let fear or discomfort get in the way! But, even if I was afraid-I did it anyway! I forced myself to step outside of my comfort zone and I am glad I did!

How has being involved in campus life at Walsh University enhanced your student experience and better prepared you for your future?
Being involved on campus has always been something I knew I wanted to do while in college! As the years have gone by I feel so grateful to have been able to be a part of so many great organizations on campus! Walsh has given me so many opportunities and outlets to able to make connections with my fellow students and all the faculty and staff as well! I feel like without all the people I have had the privilege of working with I would not be the student and leader I am today. I used to fear talking to professionals and higher-ups but now I love it! I am able to talk with professionals and gain new perspectives every day.

What is the best part of being a student leader on campus?
The best part about being a student leader on campus to me has to be seeing an event come together. I love the background work that goes into event planning and seeing all the hard work and little details come together; it really makes you feel good about the work you have put in to the event. Then, seeing your fellow students come and support your event is just the cherry on top!  Whether the event be big or small, seeing the hours of planning and decorating come to life is very rewarding!

What advice would you give to new students coming to Walsh (as it relates to becoming involved in campus life)?
If I could give a new student coming to Walsh any advice it would be to say "yes" when opportunities arise. If someone asks you to go to Trivia with them, give it a try! If someone asks you to go to the Coffeehouse Artist, go! Going to events can be a great way to find different organizations on campus that you like and want to support and maybe even join! They're a great way to find common interests among friends and become more involved on campus! I found what I loved on campus by going to events and club meetings and I cannot recommend enough for someone else to do the same!
