How do I apply to Walsh? 

Students can apply on Walsh’s website at www.walsh.edu/apply-online or through the Common Application. 

Is there an application fee?  No, there is no fee to apply.

Does Walsh have an application deadline?

Walsh does not have an application deadline.  Since Walsh has a rolling admissions policy, we admit students year-round. 

Explain the Test Optional admissions policy

Students who have earned a 2.5 GPA or higher can apply test-optional. This means that students are not required to to submit an ACT/SAT score to determine admission to Walsh.

How do I send high school transcripts?

It is recommended that you contact your School Counselor to find out how they send transcripts which can be sent electronically through Parchment (Naviance) or via the mail.

How am I notified that my application has been reviewed?

You will receive your official decision letter in the mail once all required documents have been submitted.

How do I qualify for financial aid? 

Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to Walsh which is used to determine financial aid.  The FAFSA opens annually on October 1st.  Financial Aid Awards are then sent to admitted students. 

How do I qualify for an academic scholarship? 

Merit scholarships are awarded based on GPA and ACT/SAT score (unless you apply Test Optional).  These awards are renewable for four years.

Will my AP, College Credit Plus or other college credits transfer? 

Walsh University will accept any college course credit which will count as an elective credit or as a course which is part of your major.  You can send unofficial transcripts to the Office of Admissions or your Admissions Counselor to find out how classes will transfer.

Students must earn a specified score on an AP exam in order to “test out” of certain required general education courses.   AP test scores should be sent to the Office of Admissions prior to registering for classes/attending orientation.
