Br. Charles St. James Pen Pal Program
Br. Charles St. James, FIC, served as a Brother on campus from 1974-1977 and then again from 1992 until his passing in 2006. Br. Charlie understood the importance of developing relationships with students, staff and faculty to make Christ known in simple ways.
He is fondly remembered for leaving positive and uplifting notes around campus for others to find. To honor his legacy, the Office of Mission Implementation created the Br. Charles St. James Pen Pal program. In this program, participants are assigned a random pen pal to write letters to through the course of each semester. Identities remain anonymous and messages are supportive, uplifting and inspiring. Participants can sign up for the program at the start of each semester.
